Pokemon Catch Calculator | Gen 8

This tool will calculate your chances of capturing a Pokémon in the eight-generation games. Pokemon Catch Calculator Gen 8 is designed to help you know your odds for catching a particular Pokémon using any Poké Ball you want.

The following calculation will give the exact probability of catching a Pokémon whose catch rate is at most a specific value.

Note that Sword and Shield will not allow you to catch a Pokémon above a certain level determined by the badges you have, as explained here. The calculator will show you the numbers for what happens if you do throw a Pokéball at it; if you can't do that, obviously you can't catch it regardless of what the calculator says.
